The Woman Behind The Lucè Approach™

    She Has Sat Where
    You Are Sitting.

Amata Lucè means beloved light. The name reflects what Gloria believes about skin and about people: that health, confidence, and beauty are not created by a treatment. They are revealed when what has been damaged is restored. The goal is not to become someone new. It is to return to yourself.

    The Story

    Where It Begins

In 2012, Gloria walked into an Alexandria esthetics studio looking for help. She left with a chemical burn that took six months to heal.

Six months of Tegaderm over her face just to go to work. Strangers stopped her to ask what happened.

It was another esthetician — working with a simple aloe vera line, no aggressive protocols, no expensive devices — who helped her skin find its way back. A clinician who understood that skin heals when it is respected. Not pushed.

That experience became the foundation of everything she would build.

I know what it feels like to sit in that chair with hope — and leave with damage. I built this practice so that would never happen to anyone who came to me.

    The Mission

Built for the Woman Who Has Been Let Down Before.

Every woman who walks through this door carries a version of the same story.

The product that promised everything. The treatment that made things worse. The provider who was confident and wrong. The quiet resignation of someone who has stopped expecting to be surprised.

Gloria built Amata Lucè for her.

Not for the woman who wants a quick fix. For the woman who is ready to understand what is actually happening in her skin — and commit to something that will actually work.

Amata Lucè means beloved light. The goal has never been correction alone. It has always been restoration. The light that was always there — brought back to the surface.

    The Training

A Nurse Who Became an Esthetician. On Purpose.

During the pandemic, Gloria returned to school.

She earned her Master Esthetician license at St. Paul College, Minnesota — layering it over sixteen years as a Registered Nurse in observation units, cardiac units, and medical floors.

Nursing taught her how the body fights, fails, repairs, and regenerates. Esthetics gave her the tools to act on that instinct at the skin level.

The Lucè Approach™ was born from that combination. Thinks like a nurse. Treats like a skin specialist. Structural. Conservative. Precise.

    The Philosophy

She Does Not Believe in Doing the Most. She believes in doing what is right.

Every client who sits across from Gloria carries a story. A skin that stopped responding. A person who quietly stopped hoping.

She takes a conservative approach because she has lived what happens when that boundary is crossed. A conservative hand is not a timid one. It is a precise one — intervening only when the evidence supports it, only at the depth the skin can receive.

Her goal is never to impress you with a protocol.

It is to earn your trust one session at a time. To be the clinician that the esthetician in 2012 was not.

The woman who comes to me has usually tried everything else. My job is not to add to that list. It is to finally give her something that works.

You Deserve a Clinician Who Takes Your Skin Seriously.

Gloria accepts new clients by application only. Not because she is exclusive — but because every woman who enters the Lucè system deserves the level of attention this approach requires.

If you have been disappointed before — by treatments that did not hold, by providers who did not listen, by products that promised more than they delivered — this is where that changes.

Your assessment begins with a conversation. A clinical one. An honest one. The kind you have been waiting for.
